3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Your 3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari begins in Entebbe, where you will meet your Calm Africa Safaris driver-guide and start the journey toward western Uganda. Travel through changing countryside, rural communities, farmland and rolling landscapes as you make your way toward Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Suitable stops will be made during the journey for refreshments and lunch before continuing toward the park. As you approach the Queen Elizabeth region, the landscape opens into the dramatic scenery of the Albertine Rift, with distant hills, savannah plains and beautiful views providing an exciting introduction to the destination.

Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short introductory game drive before proceeding to the lodge. This provides your first opportunity to look for wildlife and become familiar with the landscapes you will explore more extensively the following day.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

After an early breakfast, head into Queen Elizabeth National Park for the major wildlife-viewing day of your 3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari. The morning game drive takes you across selected savannah tracks in search of elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks and other wildlife.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Entebbe

After breakfast, enjoy the final morning around Queen Elizabeth National Park before beginning the return journey to Entebbe. Depending on the day’s timing, there may be an opportunity for additional wildlife viewing as you leave the park area.

Continue through western and central Uganda, with suitable stops for refreshments and lunch along the journey. The drive provides another opportunity to enjoy Uganda’s countryside before reaching Entebbe later in the day.

Upon arrival, your driver-guide will transfer you to your hotel or Entebbe International Airport according to your onward arrangements. Travelers with an early international departure the following morning can also add an optional overnight stay in Entebbe.
