Detailed Itinerary
After breakfast, you will meet your professional safari driver-guide in Entebbe or Kampala and begin your 3 Days Murchison Falls Safari with a scenic drive towards northern Uganda. The journey takes you through busy towns, rural communities, farmland and changing countryside landscapes as you travel towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
On arrival at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, you will join an experienced ranger for a guided rhino tracking experience. After the rhino tracking experience, you will have lunch and continue the drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
Upon arrival in Murchison Falls National Park, you will visit the Top of Murchison Falls, where the River Nile forces its way through a narrow rocky gorge before plunging powerfully into the river below. This dramatic natural wonder is one of the most impressive highlights of the safari. You will then continue to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight rest.
Meal Plan: LUNCH and Dinner
After an early breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive across the savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. This is one of the best times of the day for wildlife viewing because many animals are active in the cooler morning hours.
During the game drive, you may see giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, hartebeests, warthogs and different antelope species.
