After breakfast, return to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for your golden monkey trekking experience. Following a briefing from the park rangers, enter the beautiful bamboo forests on the lower slopes of the Virunga Mountains in search of these colourful and energetic primates. Golden monkeys are known for their golden-orange fur, playful behaviour and remarkable ability to move quickly through the bamboo vegetation.
Once the golden monkeys are located, you will have an opportunity to observe them feeding, jumping between branches and interacting in their natural habitat.
