Itineraries
Day 1
Entebbe, Kampala or Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will meet your safari driver-guide and begin the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive takes you through beautiful countryside, rolling hills, local towns and scenic landscapes as you travel towards Uganda’s famous gorilla trekking region.
On arrival, you will check in at your lodge near the gorilla trekking sector. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the next day’s gorilla trekking experience.
Day 2
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the park briefing point for your gorilla trekking experience. Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers will explain the trekking rules before assigning you to a habituated mountain gorilla family.
You will then enter the rainforest with experienced guides and trackers in search of the gorillas. Once found, you will spend one unforgettable hour watching them feed, rest, play and interact in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation. This is the main highlight of the 3 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari Uganda.
Day 3
Bwindi to Entebbe, Kampala or Kigali
After breakfast, check out and begin the return journey from Bwindi. You will travel through the scenic highlands and countryside with stops for lunch and refreshments along the way.
On arrival, your guide will drop you off at your hotel or airport depending on your travel plans. This marks the end of your 3 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari Uganda.
