Day 1
Entebbe or Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, you will meet your professional safari driver-guide in Entebbe or Kampala and begin your 3 Days Murchison Falls Safari with a scenic drive towards northern Uganda. The journey takes you through busy towns, rural communities, farmland and changing countryside landscapes as you travel towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
On arrival at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, you will join an experienced ranger for a guided rhino tracking experience. This activity gives you the opportunity to observe southern white rhinos on foot in a protected natural environment while learning about rhino conservation in Uganda. After the rhino tracking experience, you will have lunch and continue the drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
Upon arrival in Murchison Falls National Park, you will visit the Top of Murchison Falls, where the River Nile forces its way through a narrow rocky gorge before plunging powerfully into the river below. This dramatic natural wonder is one of the most impressive highlights of the safari. You will then continue to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2
Morning Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise in Murchison Falls National Park
After an early breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive across the savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. This is one of the best times of the day for wildlife viewing because many animals are active in the cooler morning hours.
During the game drive, you may see giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, hartebeests, warthogs and different antelope species. With luck, you may also encounter lions, hyenas and other predators depending on wildlife movement within the park. Your guide will help you explore the best game-viewing tracks and explain the behaviour of the animals you encounter.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before continuing to the Nile for an afternoon boat cruise towards the base of Murchison Falls. The boat cruise offers a beautiful river safari experience with opportunities to see hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and many waterbirds along the riverbanks. The return journey takes you through northern and central Uganda, with stops for lunch, refreshments and stretching along the way. You will enjoy the final countryside views as you reflect on the safari experiences, including rhino tracking, game drives, the Nile boat cruise and the powerful Murchison Falls.
On arrival in Kampala or Entebbe, your driver-guide will drop you off at your hotel or continue to Entebbe International Airport if you have an onward flight. This marks the end of your 3 Days Murchison Falls Safari.
