Your Unforgettable 10 Days Best of Uganda Safari begins on arrival at Entebbe International Airport, where your professional safari guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. This first day is kept light so that you can recover from your international flight and settle into Uganda comfortably before the safari journey begins the next morning.
After breakfast, you will leave Entebbe and begin the drive north towards Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, giving you a chance to see rhinos on foot with a local ranger guide.
After the rhino experience, continue to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park. You will arrive later in the day, check in at your lodge, and relax as you prepare for your first big wildlife experience.
Start the day with an early morning game drive across the northern savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. This is one of the best areas in Uganda for classic wildlife viewing, with chances to see giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, and possibly lions.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the River Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls. The cruise offers excellent views of hippos, crocodiles, water birds, and animals coming to drink along the riverbanks, before reaching the powerful waterfall where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge.
