Making the most of a luxury safari
The best luxury camps have very few rooms and fill a year in advance, especially in peak season.
A 200–500mm telephoto lens transforms your wildlife photography from good to extraordinary.
Charter flights between camps have strict 15kg limits. Soft-sided bags are required on many aircraft.
Medical evacuation cover is essential at this level of investment. Don't travel without it.
Your guide and camp staff are exceptional professionals. Budget $20–30/day per person in gratuities.
