What to Expect During Chimpanzee Trekking in Uganda

Chimpanzee trekking in Uganda is an exciting, immersive jungle experience that brings you face-to-face with our closest relatives in the wild. Set in lush tropical forests like Kibale Forest National Park, this adventure combines nature, wildlife, and raw exploration in one unforgettable activity.

Your journey begins early in the morning with a briefing from experienced park rangers, who guide you on safety, chimp behavior, and trekking rules. Afterward, you head into the forest in small groups, following fresh tracks, calls, and signs left by the chimpanzees.

As you trek through dense vegetation, expect to encounter rich biodiversity—colorful birds, butterflies, monkeys, and towering trees making the walk itself a scenic highlight.
